Hamas Attacked Universo Paralello Warm-Up Party In Israel. Hundreds Dead or Missing.

In a shocking and devastating turn of events, a warm-up party in Israel for the Brazilian Universo Paralello festival was marred by an attack orchestrated by the militant group Hamas. The assault, which took place on the morning of October 7, has left hundreds dead or missing, sending shockwaves throughout the international Psytrance community.

The two-day open-air event (6-7 October) was organized by the “Tribe of Nova” near Kibbutz Re’im, approximately 5 km from the Gaza border fence. It featured a massive selection of local and international acts, including Astral Projection, Man With No Name, Jumpstreet, Protonica, Ectogasmics, Radikal Moodz, and many more.

According to eyewitnesses, at around 07:00 AM, missiles were seen in the sky launched from the Palestinian side & intercepted by the Israeli defense systems, as can be seen in the tweet below. A few moments later, armed Hamas members appeared and began shooting at the crowd.

On Saturday, Hamas initiated an attack on Israel, launching thousands of rockets and orchestrating an unprecedented assault by armed forces on border communities, which included the Universo Paralello warm-up event by the Tribe of Nova.

A party-goer, interviewed by Israel’s Channel 12, mentioned that initially, the sound of the rockets “blended in with the music.” He went on to describe how he and his friends felt the presence of bullets whizzing around them as they tried to reach their vehicles.

Another party-goer, named Ortel, recounted the initial indication of trouble as a siren went off at dawn, signaling the presence of rockets. Observers noted that gunfire promptly ensued after the rockets.

“The power was cut, and all of a sudden, they [militants] stormed in with a hail of gunfire, shooting indiscriminately,” she said to Israel’s Channel 12.

She further mentioned, “Fifty armed individuals, dressed in military uniforms, arrived in vans.“

Esther Borochov, also attending the event, informed Reuters that as she was trying to leave, her vehicle was rammed into. She observed a young man driving another car, who urged her to join him. She complied, but the man was abruptly shot at point blank.

We are learning about the tragic loss of Shani Louk, a German citizen, and girlfriend of Orion Hernández Radoux, a Mexican citizen who is reported as missing at the time of writing these lines.

In a new update, the mother of Shani says she has been contacted and Shani is heavily injured but alive in a Gaza hospital. We will update the article as soon as we have more information.

Update: 30/10/2024: Unfortunately, Shani Louk has been confirmed dead by the Israeli government.

Shani Louk, age 30, was seen in a video posted by sources related to Hamas being transported in a pick-up van, entering the Gaza Strip. She was identified by her leg tattoos.

Orion’s whereabouts are uncurtained, as sources close to him say that his phone was answered by the Palestinian side.

The exact count of casualties, both fatalities and injuries at the event, currently remains uncertain. Additionally, it seems Hamas kidnapped a number of individuals from the gathering, a tactic they have employed in previous incidents in various towns and villages, but we cannot confirm the exact number.

Two more individuals, confirmed through a circulating online video, have been identified as abducted by Hamas militants from the event. Noa Argamani, an Israeli woman along with her boyfriend.

Furthermore, Yaniv, an emergency medical responder dispatched to the event, informed the public broadcaster Kan News, stating, “In the vicinity of where I was, there were a minimum of 200 bodies“.

“It was a massacre,” he said. “I’ve never witnessed anything of this magnitude before. It was a meticulously orchestrated ambush. As attendees emerged from the emergency exits, groups of assailants were waiting for them there and just started picking them off.“

And he continued, “With 3,000 people present at the event, it’s likely they were aware. They seemed to possess precise intelligence.“

In a newest development, a spokesperson from ZAKA, a volunteer organization dedicated to locating human remains following acts of terrorism and other calamities, informed the press that they have recovered over 250 bodies from the location of the event.
